Whisky lovers rejoice! The Special Releases from Diageo are slowly seeing the light of day. Every release of 2021 is sourced from active Diageo distilleries. There are - for now at least - no closed distilleries in the list. The ultimate showpiece will be a 26-year-old Lagavulin. Fear not, the 12-year-old is still part of the 2021 Special Releases as well as the 8-year-old Talisker. Again, sadly enough, there is no sign of an unpeated Caol Ila.
